AI governance policies, drafted and kept under review
Aicura drafts your core AI governance policies from templates, reviews each one against the frameworks you choose and recommends what to change. It also writes the documents people ask for about each AI system. Every draft is a starting point for your people, never a finished document.

Have the policy ready before someone asks for it
An audit committee asks for the AI acceptable use policy. A customer contract wants AI policies before signing. A near miss shows the policy that should have applied does not exist. Aicura gives you the full set, and keeps it reviewed as your AI use and your frameworks change.
See at a glance which core policies you have
The Governance policies tab shows how many of the six policy types you have covered, such as two of six.
- AI Acceptable Use Policy
- AI Risk Assessment Policy
- AI Ethics and Human Rights Policy
- AI Data Governance Policy
- AI Incident Response Plan
- AI Transparency Statement
Each type shows its policy, whether it has open recommendations or is waiting on review, and when it was last reviewed. A type you do not have yet opens straight into creating one.
Get a first draft from a template
Templates cover the six policy types plus the AI Vendor Due Diligence Checklist. Open a type, generate a draft and review it. A finished draft is published into your governance policies, where it is reviewed like any other policy.
Each type keeps every version it has generated, with its status and when it was made. Generating a draft uses your plan's monthly allowance of AI actions.
Recommendations against the frameworks you follow
In Settings you choose the frameworks Aicura applies to each type of review. Upload a policy, or publish a draft, and the review returns recommendations against those frameworks.
Each new version of a policy is reviewed again, and the policy's page keeps its versions, what it covers and every review it has had. The dashboard totals open recommendations across current versions only.
Policies and assessments use the same frameworks, chosen once in Settings. The Policy review report shows where each policy stands, and your Trust Centre can publish the ones you choose.
Plain documents about each system, kept in step with it
Every system on the register can carry a model card, which describes the system, and a decision disclosure, which says what decisions it makes or supports and how. Generate one, review it and accept it. Accepting locks it to the system's current version, and editing the system later puts it back into review, so what you publish keeps matching what you run.

Check your privacy policy for automated decisions
For Australian organisations, the Privacy plan reviews your privacy policy against the Privacy Act transparency requirements for automated decision-making that apply from 10 December 2026. Upload the policy, and Aicura returns recommendations and keeps them current as new versions are uploaded.
Questions
Which AI governance policies does Aicura cover?
Aicura covers six AI governance policies. They are the AI Acceptable Use Policy, AI Risk Assessment Policy, AI Ethics and Human Rights Policy, AI Data Governance Policy, AI Incident Response Plan and AI Transparency Statement. Aicura can draft each from a template and review each against your frameworks. A seventh template, the AI Vendor Due Diligence Checklist, gives you questions to ask about an AI vendor's product.
Does Aicura write our AI policies for us?
Aicura drafts them. A generated AI policy is a first draft for your people to review, never a finished document. Review and sign-off stay with your organisation and, where you need it, your lawyers. Aicura provides guidance, not legal advice, and does not certify the result.
How does an AI policy review work?
Upload a policy to Aicura, or publish a draft it generated, and Aicura reviews it against the frameworks you have chosen for that policy type in Settings. The review returns recommendations. Each new version is reviewed again, and the policy keeps every review it has had.
We have an information security policy. Do we still need AI policies?
In most cases, yes. A security policy that mentions AI in passing does not say what staff may use AI for, how a system's risk is assessed, what happens when AI causes harm or what you disclose to the people it affects. Those are the questions boards, customers and auditors now ask, and each one has its own policy type.
What is a decision disclosure?
A decision disclosure is a plain statement, for one AI system, of the decisions it makes or supports and how. Aicura writes one for each system on its AI register from what the register records. It goes to review, a person accepts it, and it is then locked to that version of the system. Editing the system later puts the disclosure back into review.
Draft your first AI policy
Pick a policy type, generate a first draft and send it for review. Aicura keeps every version and every review behind it.
