Oversight that keeps people in charge of your AI

Aicura gives the people accountable for AI a working place to decide and to see. Committees take decisions that stay tied to the charter they were made under, board reports start from what is true today, and one view shows which reviews and assessments have gone stale. When a director asks who approved a system and when, the answer is already on the record.

Committees

Committees and the decisions they take

Some AI decisions belong to a group of people, not one reviewer. A new use of customer data, an agent that can act on its own, a vendor with a poor record. Aicura keeps governance and ethics committees as records, with the matters put before them and what they decided.

Old decisions stay under the rules they were made under

Each committee has a type, a charter, a quorum and its members. Every version of the charter is kept on purpose. A decision taken under an older charter stays tied to that charter, so a later change to the rules never rewrites an earlier decision.

Membership is a record of who sits on the committee. Access to Aicura is decided by roles, separately.

Decisions with votes, outcome and conditions

Every matter put before a committee is a decision with its votes, outcome and any conditions, recorded against the charter version active when it was decided.

When a reviewer escalates an AI use request, it arrives here as a decision, and the committee's outcome is written back to the request.

Board reports

A board report drafted from what is true now

Many boards now expect AI governance as a standing item, with portfolio state, risk, incidents and decisions each cycle. Audit and risk committees often want the same material framed differently. Rebuilding it from scratch each time is slow and easy to get wrong.

Choose the period, edit the draft, finalise it

Start a board report by choosing the period and the scope. Aicura drafts it from your governance record. The author edits it for the questions in front of the board and finalises it.

Reports move from Draft to Finalising to Finalised. Finalising fixes the document, so the next period gets a new report and the one the board saw stays as it was.

Cadence

See which governance work has gone stale

Governance work slips quietly. An assessment done at launch is a year old, a vendor review was never repeated, nobody has looked at the owners since a reorganisation. Cadence shows it all in one list, worst first.

When each piece of work was last done

Every row is one subject and one piece of work, with when it was last done and how many days ago. Each reads Current, Aging, Stale or Never done, and a stale row is marked again as it ages, from Review recommended to Overdue to Long overdue.

  • Risk and impact assessments
  • Model cards and decision disclosures
  • Owners and guardrails on each system
  • Security testing and drift checks
  • Vendor reviews and data asset reviews
  • Privacy and governance policy reviews
  • Training courses

Opening a row takes you to the page where that work is done.

Report catalogue

Point-in-time reports for every part of the record

Each generated report is a document of your own records at the moment it was generated. It carries your logo, name, accent colour and footer line from Settings, alongside a Generated with Aicura mark.

AI System reportRegister

A system with its details, versions and model card, the plain summary of what it is and how it is used.

Questions

What is AI governance oversight?

Oversight is the part of AI governance where people with authority look at what the organisation's AI is doing and decide. In Aicura it covers the committees that decide contested matters, the decisions they take, the board reports that keep directors informed and a view of which governance work is going stale.

How do committee decisions connect to AI use requests?

A reviewer can escalate an AI use request to a committee. The matter becomes a decision on that committee's list, and the outcome, votes and conditions are written back to the request, recorded against the charter version in force when it was decided.

What goes into a board report?

You choose the period and the scope, and Aicura drafts the report from your governance record. The author edits the draft for the board's current questions and finalises it. Finalising fixes the document, and the next period gets a new one, so what was reported stays as it was reported.

How do we know which governance work is overdue?

The Cadence view lists every piece of governance work Aicura tracks, such as a risk assessment, a vendor review or a policy review, with when it was last done. Each reads Current, Aging, Stale or Never done, worst first, and opening a row takes you to the page where the work is done.

Does Aicura decide for the committee?

No. Aicura keeps the record of what was put to the committee, how it voted and what it decided. The judgement belongs to the people on the committee. Aicura provides support and guidance, not certification, audit or legal advice.
